Jaqueline Otalora – Content Manager

"Hello, I am Jaqui! I am Colombian, I´m happily married and I have 2 pretty daughters. I’m a trained tour guide and have worked in tourism for almost 20 years. I love to discover and promote my beautiful country. Colombia has a lot of charm! In Kiubo I am working as a content manager, and I love to support my colleagues in their great work. Maria Valencia - Office Manager

Maria was born in Venezuela, but with Colombian roots, she spent most of her holidays in Colombia as a child. She went to college in Liverpool, where she had the chance to meet people from different cultures and travel around Europe. She moved to Bogotá in 2014 to work as an English and music teacher and joined Kiubo as office manager in March 2023. She wants to help Kiubo become a reference name for travellers from all over the world who want to visit this stunning and enchanting land.

Favorite colombian destinations: "Villa de Leyva, thanks to its unique blend of history, culture, and tradition, as well as the tranquility and beauty of its landscapes. It’s the perfect destination for a weekend escape and total relaxation."

Martha Pardo - Accounting

"My name is Martha Cecilia Pardo, and I am from Colombia.

I am very proud to belong to the KIUBO COLOMBIA TRAVEL team as an accountant. I have a wide experience in this sector, I have been with the tourism industry for more than 25 years. I am married, I have a son, I live in the municipality of La Vega Cundinamarca.

I live happily in Colombia because it is a beautiful country, with a lot of nature, beautiful places, a welcoming territory, varied temperatures, beautiful beaches, cheerful people. I love tourism because it is a way to get to know our country and its people."

Favorite colombian destinations: "La Guajira is incredibly beautiful to me because of its landscapes, its beaches, and also its cultural richness, especially the Wayuu, their traditional mochilas (woven bags), and the sunsets—it’s a truly stunning destination."

Pier Izáciga - Accounting

"My name is Pier Angely Izáciga Clavijo, I am Colombian and I have been working in the tourism sector for 20 years. I love my country because it has given me the opportunity to grow personally, family and professionally. Iveth Nieto - Accounting

"My name is Iveth. I am Colombian and have been working in the accounting area for three years. I am very happy to be part of Kiubo Colombia Travel. It is the first tourism company I have worked for, and it has provided me with opportunities for both personal and professional growth. Maximilian Krempin Sosa - Strategy & Business Development

Maximilian, or Maxi (as most people call him), was born and raised in Bogotá. Growing up between two cultures—the German one from his father’s side and the Colombian one from his mother’s side—allowed him to build strong intercultural skills. He is very proud of the transformation that Colombia has undergone in the past 20 years.

His biggest passions are travelling, philosophy and football; but please don't ask him who he supports in a football game between Colombia and Germany.

Favorite Colombian destination: "It's got to be Bogotá! It doesn’t matter where I end up in the future, Bogotá will always feel like my home base. I love the city. It’s not only a cosmopolitan place that offers something for all kinds of tastes, but also the heart of Colombia—from an economic, political, and historical perspective."

Lorenzo Vocke-Valencia - Social Responsibility Lead

"As the son of a Colombian mother and a German father, I spent my childhood and early adult years in the United Kingdom and Germany, where I studied International Cultural and Business Studies with a focus on Hispanic cultures. However, Colombia has always been my home. I am very happy here and feel honored to give something back to this beautiful country by supporting Kiubo Colombia in its commitment to social, environmental, and cultural sustainability."
