Torsten Krempin - Managing Director & Senior Incoming Manager

Torsten's enthusiasm for traveling started during his high school graduation, spending many hours at the airport in Zurich, gazing into the wide world through the faces of arriving and departing travellers. After several backpacking trips through South America and a long bicycle tour through Colombia, it was clear to him that he wanted to live in Colombia. That was over 30 years ago. Today, Torsten still lives in Bogota with his wife and three children and when he is not working on sustainable travels through Colombia, you will find him on the soccer or tennis court.

Angelika Fahrenberger - Senior Incoming Manager

Angelika came to Colombia for the first time after finishing her nutrition scientist studies and got fascinated with its people's kindness, variety of landscapes, and cultures. More than 30 years ago she returned and settled in Santa Marta with her Colombian husband and two daughters. After enjoying the beauty of the Caribbean beaches, in 2006 she moved to Bogota and started working in tourism. Since then, she has travelled through almost every region in Colombia and gained a lot of experience planning trips. Angelika always manages to satisfy clients' needs and expectations.

Favorite colombian destination: The Sanguaré Nature Reserve

Natalia Guzmán - Senior Incoming Manager

Natalia was born in Colombia and has been passionate about the diversity of her home country all her life. After living in Australia, where she met her German husband, and travelling in Asia, she returned to Colombia, where her two children were born. She has been working in the tourism sector since 2014, helping visitors get the most out of Colombia.

Favorite colombian destination: The Coffee Axis —I love its coffee-covered landscapes, colorful towns, and warm people.

Lina Mejía - Senior Incoming Manager

"I come from the department where the Lechona and the Tamales are famous. My mission in life is to always wake up smiling and my passion is to show my beautiful country to everyone who wants to visit it. I have lived abroad for 10 years and learning about other cultures makes me very happy, so I hope to be part of the adventure of many visitors to Colombia."

Favorite colombian destination: The departments (states) of Boyacá and Tolima

Julia Kämmer - Senior Incoming Manager

"I came to Colombia for the first time in 2014 to teach English in a public school and fell in love with the country and its people. After my studies I moved to Bogotá and started working as Incoming Manager. During the pandemic I moved back to Germany but my love for Colombia brought me back. In my travels around the world, I love nothing more than telling people about Colombia and it makes me happy to show this beautiful country to many more visitors."

Adriana Stephany – Senior Incoming Manager

"My name es Adriana Stephany and I am originally from Venezuela. I've been living in the vibrant city of Medellin since 2016, alongside my two lovely daughters. With over three decades of experience in the tourism industry and fluency in Spanish, English, and German, I'm here to make our client’s Colombian getaway absolutely spectacular.

My passion? It's all about crafting those special experiences that'll stay with our passengers long after the trip is over. Whether it's showcasing Colombia's breathtaking beauty or ensuring every aspect of the journey is seamless, I'm all about putting a smile on the face. Diana Pesca – Incoming Manager

"Hello, I am Diana. I was born in Colombia's most beautiful colonial town, Villa de Leyva. As a child, I worked as a tour guide at one of my town's main museums. After each tour, I would buy delicious cookies with my tips. I also grew up assisting tourists at our family businesses. I’ve always found it very interesting to interact with foreigners and learn about other cultures. I had the opportunity to live in England for almost six years, and I have been working in the tourism industry since returning to Colombia. I love working for DMCs, where I can help fulfil foreign tourists' dreams of visiting, experiencing, and falling in love with our beautiful country, which makes me very happy and proud of my job! I am happily married and have three beautiful little kids"

Favorite colombian destination: "The Barichara–Guane trail. I loved it not only for the landscape, but also for the birds that accompanied me, the sound of owls, and the beautiful flowers along the way. I found it deeply healing."

Matthias Dertinger – Incoming Manager

"During a semester abroad in Argentina, I got to know and love Latin America immediately. I particularly fell in love with the warm-hearted and very hospitable people. After my apprenticeship as a tourist agent in Germany, I was once again gripped by the longing for new and exciting adventures in Colombia. The passion for traveling has been with me my whole life. It is even more wonderful to be able to do this as a job and to share my experiences and tips with customers."

Favorite colombian destination: "The beaches of Mendihuaca. There isn’t as much rush or as many people there, and the view is also amazing."

Lola Delage – Incoming Manager

"Hi, I’m Lola and I grew up in France! I fell in love with South America during my studies, and my internship in Colombia was a real turning point. Traveling across the country, I was struck by the beauty of its landscapes, the diversity of its cultures, and the warmth of its people. From the vast mountains to the endless coastlines, from bustling cities to quiet villages, Colombia is full of surprises. I especially love its rich traditions, the incredible variety of fruits, and the flavours of its cuisine!

Marcela, based in Bogotá, is a Business Administrator specialized in Tourism and Hospitality, with over nine years of experience in luxury travel design, personalized itineraries, and event coordination. She has worked with leading DMCs across Latin America, building trusted relationships worldwide and creating exceptional travel experiences for her clients.

For the past three years, Marcela has dedicated herself to showcasing the positive and inspiring side of Colombia — its vibrant culture, warm people, and breathtaking landscapes. She loves traditional Colombian cuisine and local handicrafts, and enjoys hiking, cooking, and discovering new destinations.

Favorite colombian destination: The Colombian Amazon, which she loves for its incredible wildlife, powerful rivers, and close connection to nature. She also values the chance to spend time with indigenous communities, learning from their traditions and way of life. For Marcela, the Amazon is a place where nature, culture, and spirituality come together in a unique way.

Matthias Krempin Sosa - Incoming Manager & Business Development

Matthias was born and raised in Bogotá. He is half German and half Colombian, and growing up with these two cultures has been a blessing for him. He believes that the combination of Colombian friendliness and German organization is ideal, and he sees these values reflected in Kiubo as well.

He is passionate about football, dogs, traveling, and aviation, and he loves being able to combine these passions at Kiubo.

As a proud Colombian, he loves his country—from its landscapes to its culture and people. Colombia is a magical place, and he finds it hard to choose a favorite part of the country.

Favorite colombian destination: "I would say the whole country, but if I had to choose one place, it would be Cali, the salsa capital. I’m not a good dancer but watching people dance salsa captures everything Colombia represents to me: happiness, friendliness, and wonder."

Jana Naas – Incoming Managerin

"Hola, my name is Jana and I am from a small town in Germany. During an exchange program I fell in love with Colombia, inparticular with the warm-hearted people and the diversity of the country.

After studying tourism in Germany, I knew there was only one place I wanted to return to—Colombia. Now, I love helping visitors discover the country in an authentic way, ensuring every journey is smooth, unique, and truly unforgettable."

Favorite destination in Colombia: The atlantic coast, especially Barranquilla.
